FormatNest's image editor is a fully browser-based canvas tool. Every edit — crop, rotate, draw stroke, erase — is applied to an in-memory canvas and never sent to a server. You can work on private photos, sensitive documents, or confidential design assets without any data leaving your device.
The editor is designed for quick, practical tasks: cropping a screenshot to a specific region, rotating a photo that uploaded sideways, drawing an arrow or highlight on a diagram, erasing a sensitive element from a document image, or adjusting brightness/contrast on a dark photo.
When you save, the result is exported as a PNG or JPG (your choice) and downloads directly from the browser. The editor does not autosave — download your work before closing the tab.
How to use it
Upload an image, choose a tool from the toolbar, make your edits, then click Download to save the result. Use PNG output to preserve transparency; JPG for photographs.

What image formats can I edit?
