Business calculator
ROAS Calculator
Calculate return on ad spend as a multiple and percentage from attributed revenue and advertising cost. Compare campaign revenue without confusing ROAS with profit.
How to use roas calculator
- Enter values from a consistent reporting period, using one currency.
- Select Calculate and review the labeled result.
- Copy, print or download the results as CSV.
Formula and assumptions
ROAS = attributed revenue / ad spend. ROAS percentage = the ratio multiplied by 100.
Worked example
Attributed revenue of 4,000 from ad spend of 1,000 gives 4 times ROAS, or 400%. The 3,000 difference does not account for product costs or other expenses.
Limitations and troubleshooting
Attribution accuracy depends on your reporting system. ROAS is not ROI or net profit. Use a consistent attribution window, currency, and treatment of refunds, shipping and tax.
Empty, negative and nonfinite inputs are rejected. Monetary outputs retain your input currency; no exchange rates are applied. Results are estimates, not accounting or investment advice. Inputs are processed locally and are not sent to analytics.
